American Progressive Insurance

American Progressive Insurance

American Progressive Insurance Company of New York was founded in 1945.

It is part of Universal American Insurance, which is a group of health care companies that work together with health care professionals to enrich the health and welfare of its consumers.

This company is not to be confused with the Progressive Insurance company that is so popular in the auto insurance industry.

American Progressive provides top quality products, especially for senior citizens.

In fact, American Progressive Ins. has several products to offer, including Medicare Supplement, Medicare Select, Medicare Advantage, Prescription Pathways, Acute Care, Senior Dental Insurance, and Hospital Indemnity Insurance.

Medicare Supplement plans offer comprehensive plans at reasonable rates. It includes electronic claims filing, no restrictive networks, comprehensive coverage—including specialists, and it has a lifetime warranty.

Medi-care Select has everything that Medicare Supplement does, but it is less expensive. Both the Medicare Supplement and Medicare Select will cover whatever Medicare coverage doesn’t cover.

There are no restrictions on doctors; however, there are only some hospitals that this plan will cover. Parts B, C, D, E, and F, of this plan will pay Medicare Part “A” deductibles in any hospital in the United States. It also has electronic claims filing.

American Progressive's Medicare Advantage Private Fee-For-Service Plan covers more, is more flexible, and has more value than Medicare or even other Medicare Advantage Plans.

It also gives consumers their choice of doctors and hospitals that agree to terms and conditions, inexpensive co-pays, premiums, and deductibles, yearly limit on out-of-pocket medical costs, great benefits for healthy customers, the option of having Part D drug coverage or not, and more.

Prescription Pathway is American Progressive Insurance company's prescription drug plan. It is approved by Medicare. It includes three months supply of medication for the price of 2 months, comprehensive coverage, $6 generic co-pays, a variety of plans to choose from, and eldercare service (that have wellness assessment and counseling via the phone).

American Progressive Insurance also offers a 20% discount on products that are CVS/Pharmacy Brand, but not advertised. Additionally, customers can save on OTC medicines.
