(Selma, Alabama, U.S.A)
I am currently insured by Alpha.
I have been with Alpha Insurance for 6 years, but my parents have been with them much longer.
I have never personally had to file a claim with Alpha, but other family members have in the past. We have a $500 deductible but every time we have filed they have been really good to us and we are overall very pleased with the company.
It is my opinion that they are a highly recommended insurance provider.
Thank you for the review of the Alpha Agency. I'm pretty sure you are the first person who has mentioned them here at Auto Insurance Helper.
It's nice that the first review of a company is a positive one. I hope some other Alpha users will stop in and share their opinion, too.
From what I have been able to discover about the Alpha agency, they seem to be a fairly small insurance company that is based in Illinois and was started back in 1978.
They aren't the actual insurer or underwriter of the policy, but work with insurance companies to pair them up with Alpha clients to get them the right auto insurance for their needs. You might kind of think of them as a broker. Would you agree?
Of course, it could be that you are referring to Alpha Mutual Insurance. I couldn't find out much about them online, other than some listings for three branches in Lincoln, Jemison, and Oneonta, Alabama.
Like the Illinois company, they also seem to be made up of agents and brokers rather than being the actual underwriter of the car insurance themselves.
Finally, I did find a company called Alfa Insurance also in Alabama. I assume you weren't referring to that company, also known as the Alabama Farmers Federation. They seem to be a much more prominent Alabama car insurance provider.
Whichever company you are actually with, I do hope you'll continue to have a good business relationship with Alpha Insurance, but that you'll really never need to file a claim. :)Safe Driving!
