My personal review of Allstate Auto Claims...
I have been a customer of Allstate Insurance for almost 13 years, ever since I started driving. I did go with another company about 10 years ago, for about 6 months, before begging my Allstate agent to take me back!
A few months ago my husband was in a minor accident. I called Allstate customer care to file the claim and they were wonderful.
Allstate Ins. has a service (can't remember what they call it) where they have garages they contract with.
The one they had in my area I have used before and they are great. The garage called me the next day, set up the appointment and all I had to do was show up. They did everything.
I paid my deductible which was reduced by $200 with their safe driver package. Since it was an Allstate approved garage, they did all the paperwork. And I didn't lose my good-driver rating because the accident was a no-fault and the claim was under $1,500.
My Allstate Insurance agent called me the day after the accident to make sure we were ok. The claim rep was very helpful and prompt at returning my calls.
The Allstate agents responded quickly with all the info I needed. They kept me informed at all times of what was going on and what I needed to do. Their website is good too. You can pay your bill, view your policy and request any info you need from Allstate online.
I am still a happy customer. I recommend people to my agent at Allstate Insurance Florida all the time.

My own limited experience with Allstate Ins. has been pretty positive, too. They handled the claim against them quickly and fairly. This was years ago with Allstate Insurance Indiana.
