Unitrin Direct Insurance

I have been using Unitrin Direct Insurance for my car insurance for the last 3 years. I have never filed a claim, so I can't really tell how they would treat you if you were in an accident.


The reason I've stayed with Unitrin Insurance is because they have never raised my premium rate in the three years I have been with them. They also have very cheap rates, which is what I was looking for.


Hopefully I won't ever have to file a claim. If I do, I guess I'll find out then if it was worth going with the cheapest auto insurance company you can find. :) I'll have to try to remember to come back here and let you know if that ever happens.


As far as I'm concerned, my opinion of Unitrin Direct Insurance is "so far, so good."

Thanks for sharing your review of Unitrin Insurance. We haven't had anyone mention Unitrin Direct yet using our automobile insurance ratings form, so it's good to have you be the first Unitrin customer who has taken a few minutes to share your experience.


I'd like to see many more people share their opinion so we can get a wider range of experiences. I've noticed that some people enjoy a great experience with a particular company and others report that they've been treated terribly by the same company.


I'm guessing that it isn't always an "insurance company" issue, but rather a particular "insurance agent" issue! It an be really helpful to develop a good relationship with a particular local agent so that you end up being treated fairly should you ever have cause to file a claim.


For you, Cindy, I hope you'll continue to enjoy a good relationship with Unitrin Direct Insurance and that many more years go by without you having to file a claim. :)
