The Hartford Auto Insurance Review

The Hartford Auto Insurance Review based on my experience with the company.

I have had auto insurance with The Hartford for at least 10 years.


About 8 years ago, I called Geico Insurance after seeing an ad on television. Geico assured me they could save me a lot of money.


When they came back with their Geico insurance quote for my 2 cars, it was $387 more than I was currently paying on my Hartford policy!


I told them they were higher, but the Geico agent still pressured me to sign up with them.


Needless to say, I stayed with The Hartford.


About a year ago I moved and called The Hartford to change my address info. The representative asked me if I would be interested in their AARP program.


They explained it to me and I saved hundreds of dollars by switching to that division of their company.


If I ever have to call The Hartford insurance company, they are always super helpful and go out of their way to find the answers I need.


I recommend the Hartford company to others because I've had such a good experience with them.

Thanks for The Hartford Auto Insurance review. I don't hear as much about them as some of the other auto insurers, so it's great to get some input from actual customers.


I think it's pretty amazing that there was such a difference between the Geico quote and your Hartford rates. You were smart to stick with the Hartford in that situation for sure.


To be honest, based on what I've heard from other customers, AARP Hartford is a much more reliable company to deal with than Geico, hands down!


It's always good to shop around and compare quotes, because you just never know where you are going to find the savings. But the truth is, you want more than just savings. You want reliability, too.


What I'm doubly impressed with in your insurance review story is that The Hartford Insurance Company agent you dealt with suggested that you switch to the AARP plan and take advantage of the additional "over 50's" savings.


Some companies and insurance agents wouldn't have brought that to your attention because it would have meant less money in their pocket and more in yours. I have to give Hartford Insurance extra points for that! :)
