State Farm Insurance Review

by Angela Garbot
(www.photosbygarbot.com)

You can add my story to your collection of State Farm Insurance Reviews.

I was in an accident where a car pulled out in front of me and sideswiped me. The other driver was at fault.

My experience with State Farm insurance company was great. They took care of everything, interfacing with the other person's insurance, providing me with a rental car while mine was being serviced, etc.

In fact, I still use State Farm today.

Hi Angela,

Thanks so much for your State Farm insurance review. I can imagine it must have been quite frightening to get in an accident by being sideswiped by someone like you described.

I've been in a couple of accidents over the years and have had many more "close calls." I've always ended up feeling quite shaken and weak in the knees for at least an hour afterward.

Thankfully, I was never in a serious accident where injury was received by either party, but even so, it's really great when you have an insurance company who will handle everything for you so that you don't have that added stress to worry about afterward.

It's great that State Farm took care of all that for you. If you have a good car insurance agent, it makes all the difference in the world when you're involved in an accident. We've heard stories by insured drivers who struggle to even get a person on the phone who knows what they're talking about in relation to their accident and claim. Can you imagine how frustrating and upsetting that would be?

You also made a good point about being provided with a rental car while your car was out of commission. A lot of people assume that this is an automatic procedure that occurs whenever you're in an accident. That's not the case.

If you don't have rental car insurance added on your policy, you may be out of luck. If the other driver was at fault, you have a good chance of their company providing you with a rental (if they are insured by a quality insurance company), but if the fault was yours, you need to have your own insurance coverage that provides you with a rental until your car is back in action.

This additional coverage is only $10-$15 extra per year and is well worth it, even if you only need to use it once a decade!

Sure hope you are fully recovered from your accident and that you have many more accident free years ahead of you. Thanks again for the lovely State Farm insurance review.

Safe Driving!
Angie
