State Farm Insurance Company

by Saeed
(Saint Louis, MO)

I have been using State Farm Insurance Company in St. Louis, Missouri, as my insurance provider for a little over 3 years. I never had any problem with them.

Last year I had to file a claim and I was surprised by the way they handled it. I mean the customer service was fantastic, and they were really fast on getting me going and doing the paperwork.

But they raised my rate a little bit which is understandable since the accident was my fault any way.

Overall, I would not have any problem recommending State Farm Insurance Company to my friends and family.

Hi Saeed,

Glad to hear you've had a good experience with State Farm St. Louis, and that they were so helpful to you in guiding you through the whole accident claims process.

Dealing with car accident claims can be very confusing sometimes and is really beneficial when someone "in the know" gives you sound advice and points you in the right direction.

We get a lot of reviews from around the country and it's interesting to see the good and bad reviews from the same companies.

I often think that our personal experiences with the same insurance company can vary because of the individual agents and insurance branches we have to deal with as opposed to the company as a whole.

Regardless, I'm glad YOU ended up with fantastic customer service and a positive result.

It's very common for our auto insurance rates to go up when we've been involved in a car accident and the fault was our own. Usually, if you can continue on for a few more years without another accident, the rates will drop back down again.

I think what bothers most people is when they are in an accident that was NOT their fault and yet their insurance company decides to raise their rates regardless. That seems unfair and tends to give insurance companies a bad name.
