There is an incident where a race car, on the race track, had it's tire fly off and bouncing twenty feet in the air.

Bounce, bounce, bounce... bouncing on the ring.

Bounce, bounce. Right out of the ring.

Bounce. Bounce. Bouncing it's way to the street

Bounce. Shattering right into his back windshield.

Good luck getting the insurance company to believe that one.

That does sound like it would be a pretty funny insurance claim.

I'm not sure if this is the incident you are referring to, but it's similar and would be just as difficult to explain for the owner!
