I've had a little experience with Progressive auto insurance claims.
As a Progressive customer, you have a variety of options if you happen to get into a collision, regardless of whether or not it was your fault.

Progressive makes it easy for you to access their online claim service. You simply fill out the online form to report your accident or damages and one of the Progressive claims reps will contact you within 24 hours (or so they say). :)
We happen to manage our car insurance through a local insurance broker,
so when my husband was in an accident a couple of years ago, I bypassed
the online claims process and just spoke to our broker.
