Need Help Getting Answers From Geico
by Kelli Jo
(Cape Canaveral Florida)
I need help getting answers from Geico!I live in Cape Canaveral Florida and On December 26th a Geico customer ran through my fencing and chased my mini ponies tore through my pasture and through a few other fences. The fencing even ended up on top of the roof of my home and barn.
The bumper fell off so we were able to track the owner. They gave us the claim number name of the adjuster Wanda Winikus and phone numbers.
Here it is the 10th of January and none of my calls have been returned since the first contact.
I have horses and pets that are being locked up because the fence damage exceeds $20,000. How am I to pay for all this without the help of the insurance company?
Maybe someone could give me advise.
Hi Kelli Jo,
I completely agree with you. This is unacceptable. Another black mark on Geico's reputation, it seems.
If you can't get any response from calling Geico directly, you may want to speak to a
Florida auto accident attorney and see if they would be willing to take on your case based on a no-win, no-pay agreement.
Geico has a history of trying to avoid paying, in my opinion, and the sooner you get someone working on your behalf, the better. If you're like me, you probably hate to get a lawyer involved, but it may be your only option in a situation like this.
Please let us know how it turns out for you.
Kindest regards,
Angie
