Military Auto Insurance

red car with American flagYou are eligible for Military Auto Insurance discounts if you are serving in any branch of the armed services.

Some Insurers are offering special deals to show their support of those who defend and protect our land.

You don't even necessarily have to be on active duty to be eligible to receive a reduced premium. If you are retired from the service, you, too, may still qualify. It is worth looking into armed forces car insurance more thoroughly.

If you are a member of one of the following organizations, there is a good chance that you will find an auto insurance agency that is willing to give you a better premium rate:

  • Air Force Sergeant's Association (AFSA)
  • Association of the United States Army (AUSA)
  • National Infantry Association (NIA)
  • Marine Corps League (MCL)
  • Fleet Reserve Association (FRA)
  • Navy Federal Credit Union (NFCU)
  • U.S. Coast Guard Chief Petty Officers Association (CPOA)
  • National Military Family Association (NMFA)

I have observed that some of the insurance companies even employ retired or former military personnel to work in that branch of the company - good thinking.

American flagIt seems they would be better equipped to consider the unusual circumstances that may arise for someone serving in the armed forces.

In fact, most agencies that offer military car insurance provide special services for those policyholders who are deployed.

You may be able to suspend your coverage or at least get a reduced premium while you are overseas and your automobile is stored in a secure location.

All of these issues are taken into consideration and accounted for when you are looking for a quote. Just be sure to let your agent or broker know that you are in the service and looking for special discounts that may apply.

You certainly don't get paid much. You should at least take advantage of some discount military auto insurance.

By the way, thanks so much for your sacrifice on our behalf! It is greatly appreciated.
