Liberty Mutual Insurance

I've been with Liberty Mutual Insurance for about 11 years now. I have carried both the homeowners and auto coverage over that period as well.


When I have had to file a claim with Liberty Mutual, they have been very prompt to respond and with courtesy.


There has been about a 20% increase on the homeowners insurance rates over that period of time, but my auto coverage premiums are
actually less now than 11 years ago.


All in all, I do recommend the Liberty Mutual company, and several friends & family members have switched over the years also.


Loyalty is fine but good rates still make the bottom line. I have checked other companies for comparison such as Geico, Nationwide, Progressive, and others over the years. The rates I am getting are still the best. In some cases my rates would even double if I changed companies!


Liberty Mutual Insurance also offers discounts if you attended certain colleges or are a member of some organizations, such as the Elk's, and other responsible groups.


Do I plan on staying with this company?
Definite yes!!

Thanks for the great review of Liberty Mutual. I'm glad to hear they've treated you right.


You're right about the premium rates being the bottom line, especially in today's economy! It's kind of amazing, I think, how insurance rates can vary from company to company. It seems a bit "fishy" to me, if you know what I mean.


I almost always take the time to shop around using free quotes when my premiums come due. It's not that I enjoy changing companies, but those few extra minutes have saved me quite a few bucks over the years.
