ICICI Lombard Insurance

I actually own a Maruthi 800 with ICICI Lombard Insurance.


So far I didn't come across with such situation to make a claim, but one of my friends who also has the insurance protection from the same company claimed his amount in 70 days because his car was stolen from his garage.

Seventy days seems like a long time to wait for a settlement, but I suppose there may have been a delay because of the theft. It seems that there is more paperwork due to the investigation by police and establishing that a car was stolen and not someone just trying to get money from the company.


I'm glad to know that your friend did get his money in the end.


I hope that you won't ever have to make a claim and experience it for yourself. :)
