Farm Bureau Insurance

I have been with the Farm Bureau Insurance company for over 10 years.
I have a local Farm Bureau agent who is extremely pleasant to work with. My insurance agent realized that my policy should reflect my auto usage as pleasure.
I had recently decided to quit my job and stay home with my children. She noticed that I no longer drove 20 miles to work, so she made changes in my insurance policy to reflect that change in my lifestyle and saved me $300/year.
The only Farm Bureau insurance claim I have ever had to make was for a broken window. I turned in the information to the Farm Bureau company, but because I chose to have a $500 deductible on this policy, it was not a claim.
The window only cost around $200. My agent was very helpful in recommending a reputable company to me.
Hi Molena,
Thanks for the Farm Bureau Insurance review. I'm not really that familiar with Farm Bureau, so I've had to do a bit of checking up on them. As a result of you taking the time to submit your review to our
automobile insurance ratings page, we now have a section of the site completely devoted to
Farm Bureau Insurance Company.
I'm glad to hear you have a good auto insurance history with Farm Bureau. Your particular Farm Bureau agent has treated you well, helping you find savings without you asking. That's an agent to hang on to! :-)
Many people underestimate the value of having a local auto insurance agent. It's great to "shop online" for your car insurance needs. In fact, I'm quite glad people do, or where would I be with this site?!
However, I like to encourage everyone to take their online quotes and then contact a local agent for their preferred company (if one is available) and deal directly with them. If you can build up a rapport and a one-on-one relationship with your auto insurance agent, you'll get the benefits of having someone looking out for your best interests in most cases.
Molena, you are a perfect example of that principle! Thanks again for taking the time to give us a review of Farm Bureau.
Safe Driving!Angie
