As of March 1, 2010, drivers education in Texas became a requirement for
getting a drivers license for anyone under the age of 25.
Of course, 15-17 year old new drivers have long been required to take drivers education to get a drivers license in Texas.
Even after you complete your Texas drivers education, you'll still have to take the drivers skills examination test before you can actually get your license, so it's a good idea to be sure you are fully prepared.
Some people find it quite embarrassing that they fail their driving test the first time around and have to take it over (and sometimes over again!) until they pass.
Don't worry, though. With a bit of study and practice, you shouldn't have much trouble. ;) Put your best effort into learning all the driving skills and road rules you can.
This isn't just a good idea to help you pass your permit test on your first try. It will be in your long term best interest as you put that knowledge and skill to good use on the roads.
Where do you plan to take your Texas driver education classes? There are literally hundreds of Drivers Education schools in Texas. In fact there is probably one in the town you live in or the next town over at worst.
However, more and more people are opting to take their Texas drivers education online. Online drivers education offers a number of conveniences that make it so appealing to so many different people.
There aren't many approved options for online drivers education in the state of Texas. Fortunately, I can tell you that there is at least one very good approved online program for Texas driver education. That program is I Drive Safely. Check them out and get your drivers license in Texas easier than ever!
