Take part in a car insurance group plan if you want to try to save some money on your auto insurance policy.
Group car insurance is, to put it in its simplest form, bulk car insurance.
Thousands of employees from hundreds of companies make up car insurance groups.
These groups can be covered at a lower premium rate as a result of the large purchasing power they have.
Let's face it; insurance companies are making huge amounts of money from a lot of people who never make a claim.
They can afford to offer lower premiums to insure they are getting high volume business. It is just plain good business sense.
In spite of that, there is no sense in not taking advantage of the opportunity to drop your premium if that is an option open to you. I try to save money any way I can.
Not everyone has this option available. It generally depends upon the company you work for and the benefits package that they offer to their employees.
If you are not sure if you are eligible to take advantage of group auto insurance, check with your company's department of human resources or employees benefits representative. They will be able to tell you what exactly is available to you.
Don't be shy, now. At the end of the day, this is more money in your pocket we are talking about here! :-)
If you are a business owner. Consider speaking to an insurance agent
about the possibility of you and your employees taking part in one of
these group car insurance plans.
They can help you organize a program that is right for you and your employees. It is to their advantage as they will be guaranteed more clients.
It is always nice to have a little something extra as an incentive to offer your employees, and you can take part as the employer and save money as well. Not a bad idea! :-)
