Allstate Insurance Texas
Customer Review of Allstate Insurance Texas
I have been with Allstate Insurance Texas for over six years now. I actually have Allstate Homeowners Insurance as well as my automobile insurance with them.
I have never filed a claim or gotten any kind of ticket since I have been with them.
I have all my payments come out of my checking account directly every month, so there have never been any late payments. I have done everything right on my part.
Strangely enough over the past year they raised my rates significantly. I called the Allstate claims office to speak with the insurance agent who signed us up, but he was out of town at the time so I talked with someone else in his office.
I told the lady I would like an explanation on why my rates went up. She was very nice over the phone. She explained to me that she would have to do research and call me back at least by the next day.
Well, I am still waiting on that call. I was very disappointed she didn't keep her word. I have not left the Allstate agency yet, but I plan to whenever I get around to researching other insurance companies and finding the best deal for me.
Thanks so much for your Allstate Insurance Texas review. It is a shame that they have not only raised your rates for apparently no reason, but also are failing to get back with you as promised.
I suppose it's possible that the lady misplaced your details since she wasn't your assigned agent. Bad PR, I know, but it happens.
This is what I'd do if I were you. Use the free online car insurance quote services
to find out what the competition is offering you as far as the best price is concerned.
Once you've gotten the results, give your original agent another ring. Tell him about your previous call and failure to hear back. Tell him you've looked around and found some other prices.
Give him the lowest quote you received and ask him if Allstate is prepared to match it or beat it. Nine times out of ten, they will. You may even wind up with an Allstate Insurance new quote that is a cheaper rate than you were previously paying. Now, wouldn't that be sweet?
Do pop your head back in here and let me know how it goes. :-)Safe Driving!
