Allstate Auto Club The Allstate Auto Club can be a lifesaver if your vehicle has broken down and you're stranded on the side of the road. Ugh! Have you had that frustrating experience? I most certainly have. Just yesterday I was chatting to my mom on the phone and she was telling me what a 'dreadful' day my sister was experiencing. As a treat for her 9 children, my sister loaded up her van and headed off to the zoo. Much to her dismay, half way there she had a flat tire. She was close enough to Walmart to pull in and ask the auto department to change the tire for her. They put on her spare "donut" tire and off she went again. Unfortunately, as she was exiting one of the ramps from the freeway, that tire gave out too! What are the chances??? With the way we've all had to tighten our belts lately financially, my sister had to let her auto club coverage lapse. If she had been covered by Allstate's auto club, she would have been able to call Allstate Ins. Co. and take advantage of their roadside assistance. Instead, she had to ring some dear friends who are always ready to help, and they came riding to her rescue. Praise the Lord for the kindness and generosity of spirit some people have in abundance! Of course, they also help you with travel plans, provide tools to help you decide on purchasing a new or used car, and offer Accidental Death coverage.
