I'm insured with AAMI Insurance in Australia.


AAMI has a really good claims process where you drive your car to the centre and leave it with them. They give you a taxi to get to your home or work. It's called AAMI Valet Service.


They evaluate the situation and the damages. After that AAMI calls you within 24 hours to let you know who will repair your car and how long it will take.


When your car is done, they give you a free taxi to come back and pick it up.


It's pretty awesome and hassle free.


I needed a hire care when I had my claim and AAMI let me catch the taxi to the hire car place so I didn't have to work out how I was going to get there.


The whole process was very simple. I liked it and was very happy that I didn't have to deal with any fuss and frustration.


I guess you can say that I would wholeheartedly recommend AAMI Insurance to other Australia residents.

Having these conveniences can really make your life easier when you are already feeling frustrated and inconvenienced by an accident or breakdown. It's these little extra's that differentiate between insurance companies and keep customers happy and loyal.


You didn't mention whether or not AAMI paid for your hire car or you had to pay for it out of pocket. It's usually a good idea to pay that little extra on your premiums to get rental car coverage just in case it's needed.
